MY PERSONAL STORY

Having been sexually assaulted, I’ve come to understand that when life treats you harshly, you have two choices: 1. accept it, heal, and move forward or 2. stay trapped. Training allowed me to let go of the pain and renew my nervous system so I no longer experience panic attacks and restlessness. Let your transformation begin by your body teaching the mind to be still.

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

Building your muscular strength and cardiovascular health will boost neurochemicals like serotonin, to aid in healing depression and anxiety. Training strength and cardio simultaneously is 5x more effective on your mental wellbeing than training one or the either.

BREATH TRAINING

The way you breathe directly influences your state of mind, engaging either the parasympathetic "relaxed" system or the sympathetic "fight or flight" response. By retraining your breath during intense training, you will gain control not only while lifting physical weight but also under the pressures of life.

MIND-BODY CONNECTION

Strengthening your mind-body connection reveals how your body responds to stress + trigger points in your body, and ultimately helps manage your reactions to external triggers. We train both the bottom-up (body to mind) and top-down (mind to body) approach so that both the mind + body can influence each other.

TEMPO VARIATION

Involving coordinated movement with breath control. We train variations of tempo on the down phase, bottom position, up phase, and top position of a lift. This maximizes strength gains, breaks through plateaus, and increases control over hard parts of a lift. Tempo training maximizes physical and mental capacity.
